I like this ...

Its diffrent, and has a cool rythm to it. Its a "repetative track" technically speaking, but for some reason the mix of sounds doesn't make it come off that way.

It sounds like the theme song for Dark Imps working magic over a peaceful village. Evil and annoying, but not like the death of the universe type epic, more like "WTF, its a bunch of evil and we have no idea what they are doing!"

LOL

I love your thought about the whole Dark imps thing and it is repetitive in classical terms but I tried to add as much "Subtle" Sounds to it

Interesting Review.

hahahaha.

this game was one of the most stereo typical J-RPG's ever made.

And we all loved amyways, it despite the utter cheese and fruity charactors.

Well done.

Awesome

I just wish it was a bit longer. Seriously, at the end of that, it seemed like you were going to explore more .... it felt just like an intro to something else .... like your walking through the ruins of a city, you come to the edge and all of a sudden the true depth of the destruction comes into view.

the drums are nice

but they sort of don't really macth up with alot of the song. Not bad, but not fantastic either. I think if you cleaned this up a bit and tried to "focus' the melody around the drums more instead of having what sounds like random clips on top of each other, i think this could really rock.

newskies responds:

thanks

Epic

Its epic. It evokes emotion and depth. Some of the best i have heard on new grounds. I been o nthis site for the past 3 months or so, and there are a few guys you see in the top 100 or so in classical all the time. Where the hell has your stuff been hiding? Its good.

sorohanro responds:

well, in tops you usually have crap, sorry for the guys in top, but that's the sad truth
that's because some kids having no life outside NG stay here all day, voting and gaining vote power and mass vote on their own stuff ... if you have profesional musicians (like No1r,SSM-NW ...) they stay in studios or having concerts, so, not much getting vote power.
the result is that they got under voted constantly and you don't find them in top...
thanx for your review
glad you like my music

Im biased because ..

I love epic sounding music, where you can hear and see the fate of the world being held in the balance of something small and fragile, surrounded by evil, but spurned by hope.

i hear determiniation against overwhelming odds ... soilders marching into battle, while a dark storm cloud, swathing the sky in darkness, rains its misery upon men. Their feet are caked in mud, their wagons barely move. A wheel breaks on one, and the strongest take turns bearing the load of the 4th wheel, so vital is the supplies they carry, so precious is their time, and so resolute these soilders .... They march for their land, wives and children, and even the youngest among them has their lips pursed and face steeled against what they know to be their certain doom ....

Sorry im a writer by trade myself, so like the opportunity to share little shorts when the mood strikes me. Well done. Ditto with the below, a tad more variation, perhaps in the drumming, would have done wonders to this song.

Bosa responds:

A bit more drumming? Hm.. that's not what I was looking for, but if you think it would be better off with more drumming, then perhaps it is. Sorry to disappoint somewhat in this track, but I'm glad you shared your story with me and others who enjoy a fine writer.

Well Done.

Its well done. It sounds resonably realistic, so i guess i can say that it was well 'rendered' or whatever you music makers call it. You can hear the reverb on the low notes.

My only real complaint, is about halfway through it gets a tad predictable. I think what lends to that feeling, is that you let to much ring. On a guitar or similar instrument you want alot to ring, on a piano, you kind of almost always want something busy going on unless your moving to something else. Granted its not a rule, but in this song, i think it would have helped. Maybe a secondary instrument in the back ground, like a harp or a violin just to keep it to together, you loose the melody at parts.

Anyways well done. 5 of 5 and 9 of 10 in my review.

CrimzonWolf777 responds:

Hey man thx for the review, I had a feeling someone would want more instruments...but I wanted this to be strictly piano for some odd reason lol. But I'm glad you enjoyed it! ^_^v

well done

I like the drums on this. War drums, with a sorrowful female voice background in the background. I like the contrast.

I think this needs a bit more. Maybe like a cello or something to establish the harmony instead of a piano, i think it would flow better. Other than that, its awesome, and as always you impress and inspire.

i like.

not a big D@B guy. Always loved your stuff though. And this is interestin cause its evil and discordent technically, but melodicly and harmonically it still has some class. nice fusion, to use an over abused buzz word.

wow

Its decided. Marry me.
